We are the Council for Mechanical Engineering and we are for all who study Mechanical Engineering. At the moment, we are 13 members from different years and specializations. The Council is related to both DTU Mechanical and DTU Diplom because our education is both at Lyngby Campus and Ballerup Campus.
The Council has one meeting per month and always in the evening, shifting between Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We make toasted sandwiches before the meetings and we always have waffles.
We have one big social events: “Maskinløbet” which is for everyone who wants to participate, you just sign your team up by texting maskinraadetdtu@gmail.com, see more at facebook.com/events/1836116786638169 . In addition to that we have internal events such as the Easter lunch and “Kedeldrukt” where we put on our coveralls (as a member, of course you borrow one as well) and have a beer or two together.
The Council has the main focus to get more members this year. Mechanical Engineering is a big field of study and the Council should represent all the students best possible.
