Housing

As a student at DTU you have good opportunities to get accommodation close to campus. The housing situation is pressed at the time, so it may be a good idea to put in you application in good time and be patient.

Polyteknisk Kollegieselskab (PKS) administers dorm rooms in the greater Copenhagen area and have their offices on the first floor in building 101 in the PF hallway.
Read more about housing and PKS on their website.

For non-Danish students, it is recommended to apply for housing through DTU’s Accomodation Office.

You can have a look at Danske Studerendes Fællesråds (the National Student Association of Denmarks) 5 things to look out for when looking for housing.

DISPENSATIONS

Are you not living up to the criterias for living at a PKS dorm or is it impossible for you to get housing? Some people have a bigger need for housing than others because of illness or other things that are not noted as you apply for housing. You can therefore apply for dispensation through PFIU to get a little extra help.

Dispensations are only considered, if one of the following forms is filled out:

Dispensation form for people living at a PKS dorm

Dispensation form for people not living at a PKS dorm

This procedure has been made to ensure each application is processed fairly, and the decision can be made based on the right information. Dispensations must be sent to iup@pf.dk in pdf- or word-format, where they will then be processed. Dispensations handed in on paper are not accepted.

Ansøgninger bliver behandlet månedligt.
