Influence
As a member of PF, it will be easier for you to gain influence on your education. You will get the possibility of joining a Student Council, where you – along with your fellow students – can improve your study programme and the student environment.
PF also has representatives in many DTU bodies, including:
- all Study Boards (ISN) who ensure the quality of the various courses at DTU
- the Academic Council who discuss and determine the overall academical profile of DTU
- the Board of Governors, who discuss and determine the general guidelines and goals of DTU.
As a PF member you can help define the opinions and visions of the students at DTU.
Network
As a PF member you will also gain a huge network, which will benefit you both through your studies and later in life. Through your Student Council you can meet the Academic and the Sociopolitical Committee where students from all study programmes at DTU are gathered.
As a PF member you can also join the Study Start as a Vector og a Buddy, where you will also meet students from all over DTU through your education.
Discounts
PF members also have access to a lot of discounts both at and outside of DTU. E.g. you get discounts on concert tickets in S-Huset and in many shops in Lyngby and Ballerup through The Discount Network.

The formula collections are tailored for teaching at DTU and are written by students and teaching assistants, and they cover all the formulas you need.
Value: DKK 370.
(Not exchangeable for cash or other formula collections).
The formula collections are available for many other subjects (Mathematics, Geotechnics, Algorithms, Electricity, Hydraulics, and many more) and are available both digitally and in printed form.

A PF membership lasts for the full extent of your studies here at DTU. Remember to get a PF-sticker at our secretariat when you have signed up so that you can prove your membership.
The membership costs a one-time payment of 550 DKK as a new student, and the price is reduced if you are already further into your studies. New master’s students can obtain a membership for 220 DKK. There is also a discount on the membership if you sign up for the bachelor introduction trip (rus trip).
